COMMUNICATION SKILLS WORKSHOP

Thursday 24 September, 9.30am – 3.30pm

Good communication is an essential skill in palliative medicine but many of us have never had any formal communication skills training. Research shows that communication skills can be learned, and better communication can have positive impacts on both patients and healthcare providers. This half-day workshop provides a safe and interactive platform for participants to hone their communication skills under the guidance of trained facilitators. The workshop follows the VitalTalk method and is based on the well-regarded AChPM Communication Skills Workshops.
